We LOVE Low Luv!

The talented model/designer Erin Wasson and famed jeweler Pascal Mouawad have teamed up to create the jewellery range. First launched in 2008 the collection is timelessly tribal and distinctively streetwise.

Inspired by Wasson’s imagined walk through the Southwestern American desert, the pieces from the Autumn collection seem like artifacts of that trip. Metalwork conjures traditional Mexican handicraft; etched symbols suggest ancient Native American glyphs; bold statement necklaces feel timelessly tribal.

Using gold and silver plated metals and a beautiful palette of black and pale coloured crystals to decorate the array of pieces, Wasson’s distinctively streetwise style speaks through each piece, putting a modern spin on her inspiration.

Now available at Bird Motel Store. Her pieces range from $39 to $199. Each piece and handcrafted and utterly stunning!

Colour, colour, colour

Whether its colour blocking or a colour pop, now is the time to ban yourself from wearing your drab blacks and grey and try some colour. You’ll love it, and no matter what skin tone and hair colour, there is a colour that will look fab on you!

If you’re not quite ready to hit the street in head to toe bright colours, then start small. Try some shoes or bangles, then move up to a singlet and soon you’ll hardly believe that you’re wearing a bright yellow tube skirt with a watermelon top!

For all the scaredy cats here's a couple of tips...

It's bright, it's not washed out, pale or pastel!

Try picking colours that compliment each other

Add a security blanket! If your not quite ready for top to toe colour, try mixing a solid black or white in the mix.
