Kimberly Gordon, one of the two Wildfox co-creators, is still the creative director of the brand, and she's awesome.  

"Inspired by friends, love, camping, dreaming, riding around in cars, driving along the coast, beautiful books, witches, poetry, movies, faeries, dreams, Los Angeles, and the earth, I hope to remind people to be wild, have fun, and get lost in their dreams."

It's so amazing to know that not only are Wildfox clothes made in the USA, but Wildfox pride themselves on respecting their employees.  The quality truly shows when you put on a Wildfox garment for the first time, and the hundredth time too!

AMA MONOCHROME MAGIC!!

Well another week another American awards show but we wouldn't have it any other way!  How else could we check out the wacky, the wonderful and the weird outfits of the stars and call it work?  

Today we're blogging about the VMAs little sister, the AMAs. That's the American Music Awards, yes, it is another, only slightly different music awards show from the US of A.  No, not the MTV Music Awards or the Grammys, look - does it matter?  Aren't we talking about the dresses anyway? 

It seems like all the colour was left to the stage because the red carpet was a monochromatic masterpiece of incredible black and white.

We've been busy bees working away at our Summer 13 Shopalog!  

We're totes (yes we just used the word 'totes' but we promise to retire it soon)  obsessed with Pinterest, so our Summer 13 Shopalog is inspired but this amazing virtual scrapbooking phenomenon - here is a sneek peak at a page in progress...

 That's right, we know that we like to express our feelings through our fashion and one day we might feel pretty and feminine, but the next we might feel edgy and cool.   

Birdmotel object to people and companies who try and put is in a box style-wise and tell us what we should wear.   We know every girl is a combination of lots of different styles and likes to rock different looks on different days.  

We firmly believe that if you love it, wear it.
